No, it just means that the plot thickens...pretty grave circumstances, I'd say...seems this might be a hearse of a different color...not surprising that someone would be dying to crash this procession...remember what the great Moss O'leeham once said, "If you take the letters in 'FUNERAL' and mix them up just a bit, you can have 'REAL FUN'!"
