Farewell

Today I found out that an old climbing buddy of mine died in an avalanche. It's weird because he was a lover of outdoors and that's what ultimately led to his death. The funny thing is that out of all of us that used to go climbing I would say he was the most cautious of all, least likely to take a risk...and now, the only one to pass on because of the risks being stacked against him.

He was definitely a good guy. Sometimes a little quirky, but he had a great heart and yearned to be a better person and longed to become someone who more closely followed God with each day.
